What a Graduate Wants....

It's the big weekend for Graduations around here:) It is a special year for us as our neice is graduationg! We decided to give her a Vera Bradley ID/change clippie and then I couldn't resist making her something to hold what she really wanted..........................MONEY!

She is not a girlie girl so I tried to stay away from frills. I love it and can see lots of these in the future for gifts;)

I made this for a retirement gift for a special teacher. She loves soft peppermints so I thought I would inclue those in this special little jar. I hope she likes it.

I've been very busy this week ending out the school year! Students finished yesterday and now I'll be finishing up records this next week. It feels good to get to make a card today! I found the perfect papers and even made my OWN paper rosettes!!! I made this for a special teacher that is retiring in a few days!! I know she's going to love it! Maybe she can frame it as a keepsake:)

I love MFT Pure Innocence stamps and wish I could have them all. I found them digitally on etsy, http://www.etsy.com/shop/digistampcharacters?section_id=6205520, and went to her sale and got some great deals..... I used one of them on this card. I paired a sentiment from Studio G Wood Stamps with it!! I think it turned out cute. For some reason I couldn't get the bright spot off the ribbon...Crazy camera!!!

Still trying to add some teacher thank you's to my stash of cards. After seeing all the wonderful ways to use ribbon on a blog tour I knew I wanted to use some sort of ribbon on my teacher card. Life is Sweet

Funky Hi Card

As promised....here is a larger card featuring Pinkalicious wrinkle ribbon!!!! It is so scrumptious, yummy, and oh so fun to work with..

I added the pop of green with chipboard lime green letters that I distressed a little and a little lime green glitter to the ribbon. Not much though...
