Happy Anniversary

I made this awesome little card to give to my husband for our anniversary!!! I think it turned out lovely. I didn't include a sentiment on the outside as I thought it would take away from it, so I included it on the inside. Sentiment reads, you make my heart flutter!!!!

It's still 100+ here in the South so I hope everyone is staying cool!!!

I wanted to share a new favorite card of mine. I love looking at cards for inspiration and just to marvel at the awesomeness of them!!! I found this card the other day while I was doing some creative searching!!!

This card was made by Leslie Miller! It is one of my favorites because it uses some of my favorite colors: black, pink, and white!!!

I hope you're staying cool-it's 100+ heat index here in the South!!!

Life is Beautiful............

Okay ladies....I have to admit...I think this is one of my favorite sentiments of all time!!!!! I can show you this card, but I have another one that is hush, hush....I'm submitting it:)

The paper is so awesome and I wish I had about 5 pads of it!!! My camera doesn't do it true justice... I used a free digi sentiment and my own hand-dyed wrinkle ribbon!!! It is so fun to work with... You can find it here, http://www.etsy.com/shop/havingfunwithpaper?ga_search_query=havingfunwithpaper&ga_search_type=seller_usernames, if you would like to try some.....

Ten to Tango Challenge #1...........Pink...Pink...Pink

I am so excited to share with you my entry in the very FIRST Ten to Tango Blog Challenge. We were challenged by Jen to create a card that would represent the fight of Breast Cancer and also benefit our local Cancer foundation or Hospice. I knew immediately I wanted to create a pink card. I chose muted tones instead of the traditional pink used in most breast cancer ribbons.

I hope you'll drop by Jen's blog, http://jaxbeanstalks.blogspot.com/2010/06/ten-to-tango-blog-challenge-1.html, to see all of our groups creations and enter your creation too:)

Here's my creation.....Owlways in my Heart...

I'll be sending my card to our local cancer center where women are treated every single day. I pray that it will touch the life of the recipient and make her day:)

Enjoy!

Maybe she can frame it as a keepsake:)

Hope you have a great Saturday!
